Hosted by Pip & Nut & Lucky Saint. This training is running across  our leadership teams and is being run by an organisation called Fearless Futures, who have over a decade of experience working with global organisations delivering impactful DEI training and consultancy. Their team has worked with organisations around the world.

The e-learning & workshop covers:

1.    Systemic oppressions - what they are and their constituent parts, where they come from, how they’re maintained and their outcomes.

2.    Privilege - what it is, what it affords us and how we can disrupt it.

3.    Intersectionality - what it is, common pitfalls when engaging with it and how we can apply it effectively as a tool for inclusion.

4.    Equity - what it is, what it isn’t, why this matters and how we can progress it in our work decisions and outputs everyday.

5.    A range of global examples, case studies and interactive knowledge checks and scenario work to ensure participants achieve a solid equity and inclusion conceptual foundation.

Learning outcomes:

·         Explain robustly what Race and Ethnicity are

·         Explain the process of racialisation (as a core feature of racism)

·         Account for how racism manifests - historically and to the present

·         Recognise the differing contours of racisms i.e. anti-South Asian racism and anti-Black racism as well as their shared roots

·         Recognise how to incorporate an intersectional lens to analyses of racist workplace outcomes

·         Produce actionable responses to racisms - with specific equitable tools - through relevant workplace case studies (video examples and written scenarios) that explore workplace structures like: recruitment processes, promotions, team meetings and branding decisions
